"The hotel room was nice. The food was good and healthy options. The only issues were the mosquitoes, swarming birds in the outside dining area. There is only outside dining, so you are fighting the bugs and birds. There is nothing close to resort, so you have to take a taxi ($80 US) or rent a car. However, they drive on the left side. "

Everyone was helpful and made our stay a memorable one. Shout out to Tehron, Romaine, Alge, Rasiel, Jeremiah, Rashawn and a few other staff who’s names I can’t remember at the moment but they all had great hospitality. "Stayed for a week in March… Couldn’t ask for more. Spotless accommodations, very spacious with lots of modern amenities and private parking. Spent relaxing mornings on the porch enjoying the gorgeous gardens. And of course, the pool! About 5 mins from the beach and tourist attractions. Everything you need to stay in and relax or go in and out safely. I really enjoyed my stay. Can’t recommend enough. Host was pleasant and helpful."

"We spent a night there, and despite being simple, it really helped us. The owner received us in a very friendly way and although it was a little bit late, she was very kind and prepared us something to eat. The air conditioner was already on in our bedroom and the bedding and the room were totally clean. The bedroom has a nice space and there were two double beds. Regarding the location, it's far from downtown, and if you're looking for restaurants/ cafeterias, they aren't around. Breakfast is...

"We rented unit D I believe, which is at the bottom past the pool. It is the closest to the water. This is a studio with a comfortable queen bed. The bathroom is lovely with a peek a boo view of the water- nice treat. At night with all the lights off you can see so many stars and the moon perfectly. There is a simply equipped kitchen but great for the basic cooking. There is also an outdoor kitchen by the pool which has a gas grill, sink, stove top and fridge. Pool and hot tub were stunning and...

"Nicely remote, very open house, beautiful pool, comfortable beds. No ice maker in the fridge but our escort to the house told us that so we bought ice. The house does not have air condoning which we knew when we made the reservation but we didn't know we would have extreme heat during our visit which made us very hot and unable to escape the heat. Otherwise, we enjoyed our visit. "

"We had a great family vacation staying at Villa Serena - one of our best yet. We were there with our two sons (ages 13 and 15). The villa sits up high on a peninsula and has an amazing view of the water with an infinity pool and spa that gets sun all day long. We had a steady breeze all the time which made for very comfortable temperatures. The villa itself is well laid out and the kitchen and living room have huge doors that open up to the pool and ocean views. Each bedroom also has large doors...

"We've just returned from spending a very relaxing family Christmas break at the Gordon House.
